Effie (Ayres) Arnold

This is a picture that Pat has.  This is Effie and Bion Arnold.  The picture was correctly ID by Charles Bion Arnold II.  This picture was taken on their wedding day.

Here is another picture of Effie that Pat has.  It was labeled Effie Ayres Arnold and son.  However, we aren't sure if this is one her sons, specially with the bow in the hair!  We do know that Effie was close to the Burrell family.  She had wanted to adopt Verna Lora Burrell after her mother, Verna Mary (Gorham) Burrell  died.  So perhaps this is Verna Lorna?

Entertains Class - Mrs. Effie Arnold delightfully entertained the Reliable Sunday school class at her home on Thursday afternoon.  There was twelve ladies of the class present and they spent the afternoon sewing carpet rags for Mrs. Dolby.  A short meeting was held to which the usual business was transacted.  The hostess served a most delicious luncheon to the guests.  Mrs. Charles Freeman will entertain the class in March.
