Alva & Mary (Soles) Trumbull

Alva Trumbull was born in 1831 in NY.   His wife, Mary was born in 1844 in MI.  Their homestead in 1870 was in Robinson Township, MI.  They had 80 acres located at 104th Ave. and Pierce Street.   The Trumbull School (later renamed New Era School), built in 1889 was located on their property.  Later in 1897, the family owned property at 104th Ave. and M-45.
