Orsemus & Ann (Noracong) Trumbull

Orsemus' neighbors were Lewis Watson, Joseph Armhine and Walter Watson  according to the plat drawing and book in the Canton Historical Society Schoolhouse.

According to the July 1850 census for Canton, Wayne Co., MI, Orsemus Trumbull was 26 years old, he was a farmer and had been born in NY.  Orsemus lived on Geddes Road (Section 31, between Barr and Ridge Roads) with his wife Ann (Noracong), who was also a native of NY.  His land was valued at $700.00

In the census of 1860, Orsemus was listed as Arsemus Trumble. It shows Ann as 30 years old, Monroe 12, Morton 10 and John 4.   The Trumbulls also had a "housegirl" by the name of Hulda Knapp who is a native of NY and 21 years old.
